Sand Utilities Speed LLC, in our claims department we have the following structure: 

  • Manager for damage prevention 

  • Claims Manager that oversees the department

  • Claims adjuster that investigates claims and follows through with settlements and payment

  • Customer support agent that communicates with clients

  • Legal advisor that ensures that there is legal compliance

  • Field Supervisor responsible for damage reporting

In alignment with our current claims department we are developing a working strategy on preventing damages.

The prevention of excavation accidents that damage underground utilities is critical to delivering safe and reliable service to our clients.  Our best interest of our company is to project prevent damages to underground utilities providing successful utility damage prevention.

One essential form of communication between damage prevention partners is positive response with the 811  portal  and  setting up a meeting with the Utility Locator Companies. Our company set up a three day excavation Locating  Instruction for damage prevention. 

Sand Utilities Speed sets up every morning  Damage Prevention meetings to share the responsibility and how important it is to work safely and dig every utility with precaution. When the utilities are not marked we take the corresponding damage pictures with the kit to show the distances from mark. We keep full documentation of all reported damages for future accessibility and record keeping.
